1 year post surgery

Heyy guys!!

Some days ago it was ONE YEAR ago since I did the os trigonum surgery, removing the extra bone I had in my left foot. Above is a  throwback to some weeks after the operation. I’m so glad everything is fine now and I haven’t experienced any problems like that after the surgery.

I hope you’re all doing well. I haven’t blogged much lately and the reason for that is because I haven’t really done much either.

Midsummer was spent with one of my closest friends Agnes, and her family. We had such a great time although the weather was cold and rainy but that didn’t surprise us much, note to self; we’re in Sweden. Today all I did was going grocery shopping with my parents while my siblings played with our cousins, I’ve worked out for around 3 hours and addition to that I’ve been reading and watching dance moms which is my current obsession, for some reason.

My workout went really well as I mainly focused on core exercises as well as the arms. I also did loads of pointe exercises & stretched. It is only one week left until I leave for Mikkeli and Vaganova Master Class course, which I’m really excited about.

Tomorrow my best friend Rut is coming here to our summer house in south of skåne and I couldn’t be any happier to see her. We haven’t seen each other for ages!! ❤

I hope you’re all having an amazing summer break. Remember that all days may not be perfectly sunny, spent with friends or family enjoying the weather and having fun but- that’s OK! During days like that, find time to do other things that you’d never do otherwise, maybe clean or go through your closet, read, workout (strength and stretch), prepare pointe shoes or just chill watching TV or good series. Talking about series, does anyone know any good ones you’d recommend? I’ve finished all the ones I’ve been watching and could really use some tips, please comment down below!!

Take care xx

Switzerland love

Today has been an amazing day. The weather was perfect and we’ve been hiking/walking/climbing up Rellerli. It took us around an hour and then we spent some hours enjoying the different activities up there, like the summer toboggan run. So much fun and SO incredibly beautiful!!

To be honest, although going up is harder than going down I prefer the way up much more whereas going down hurts my knees and is generally difficult hahah…

Tomorrow we’ll attempt Glacier 3000 in Gstaad, which is covered in snow. Summer in the village but winter on the top, sounds interesting right?

I’ll soon have dinner and then workout; abs and core, arms, pointe shoes, a bit of feet exercises, releves and stretch.

I hope you guys have had a great dayy,

See youu ❤

Hey guys!!

I’ve almost (not really) finished my packing and we’re leaving early tomorrow morning around 6.30am!! We’ll drive to Denmark and then we’re taking the ferry to Germany. The total drive is around 10 hours something and we will then sleep in Wiesbaden for one night before taking on Zurich.

I literally cannot wait to see my friends in Zurich!! We will spend two night at a hotel there and then continue driving to Rougemont and Gstaad, our final destination. I don’t know exactly how many nights we’re staying there for but around a week I guess, before driving back to Sweden again.

Today I’ve worked out for two hours followed by a 5k run with my sister. Other than that I was in town with mom and Thea where I bought a self tanner from St Tropez. I just put it on and so far so good ;).

When in Switzerland, we’ll enjoy the fresh alp air when hiking and spend some time with our grandparents. I love Switzerland and Rougemont is so cozy and very beautiful in the summer, not to mention really good practise for my french. C’est très bien, n’est pas ? ❤

Take care and à bientôt !

Summer feelings? Nah

Heyy guys hope you’re well!!

Today has been a pretty average day. I worked out (super intense) for two hours before lunch, then I spent another two hours cleaning ‘my house’ and after that I baked some healthy (and yummy) fibre oat cookies. Right before dinner I was running with my sister for like an hour. We worked on intervals which was really good.

Tomorrow we’re going to grandma’s and probably seeing some of our cousins as well. I’ll try to workout early in the morning as we’re leaving early in order to get to them before lunch. Hopefully I’ll manage doing some  shopping there too. 😉

Having summer break is always nice but I really haven’t had the time to relaxed and feel ‘summer’ yet. I am more than excited to go to Vaganova ballet master class course in 3 weeks though, in Mikkeli – Finland. Two weeks of intense training, can it get any better? Can’t wait!

Take care!! ❤

Hey guys!!
I’m currently on the train, going from Stockholm back to Sigtuna after a (good) ballet class. The weather is so summerish, loveeee it!! The sun’s shining, hardly any clouds and I’d estimate the temperature to 20something. It’s not Delhi’s +40 instant heat but nothing beats a Swedish summer. Though Snapchat said it was only 15 degrees — but everyone knows that Snapchat isn’t the most reliable source for most cases 😉

Anyway, it was SO nice to be reunited with my friends yesterday ❤ I’ve missed them SO much. I think that especially since we’re sharing house and see each other 24/7, being away is pretty tough. I was doubting surviving one week let alone the whole summer? Oh well, thank god there’s social media.

I got back to the boarding house around 6 in the evening, when I had unpacked everything me and Sabina went out for a long walk, enjoying the weather. As always Mondays mean sleep-ins to nine for everyone at SSHL. I can literally never sleep in though & jet lag didn’t exactly make it better. Sabina and I were up and ready to take on the world around 7, we went for another walk followed by a quick ab workout before breakfast- sandwiches and scramble egg with tomatoes and peppers.

My school day was pretty chill. I only had two classes and worked out during lunch, for an hour. I started running for 20 Minutes. Followed by 16 lunges to the front as well as 4 to the side, parallel, and 4 more but turned out. Then I did a set of 50 crunches on a Pilates ball, one minute plank – front and to both sides (aka 3 minutes + side lifts when in plank) and these ‘long dips’/ bikeish leg movements starting from table top and extending one leg at a time- 32 times. I did this set twice. Continued with 30 push-ups, or more like 10+10+10, on the knees. Followed by an exercise for the glutes. Then I did 15 relevés with +5kg weight, two times, back lifts 10×2 and then I stretched.

I hope your day was a good one!! See you
